Section 241

No one shall steal or cause to be stolen.
(2) For the purpose of sub-section (1), if any person takes, without the consent of such person, any movable property owned, occupied, controlled or in charge of another person, without the consent of such person for the purpose of making it his own, or changing its location, he shall be deemed to have committed theft. Explanation: This section For the purpose of –
(a) "Consent" means consent given in writing or verbally or expressed by conduct.
(b) The consent of a child under the age of eighteen years or of a person who is not at home shall not be deemed to be consent.
